My name is Jay Ellis. I am an A&R at Rap-A-Lot Records, and have been so for about three years. I've worked on almost every project released on R-A-L since 2007, including Yukmouth's "Million Dollar Mouthpiece", UTP's "Back Like We Left Something", Devin's "Waiting 2 Inhale" and "Hi Life" albums, Z-Ro's I"'m Still Living "and "Crack" albums, ABN's "It Is What It Is", and Scarface's "M.A.D.E" and "Emeritus" albums. I am responsible for most of the A&R administration responsibilities at the company, working under A&R Director, Anzel 'Intl Red' Jennings. Up and coming projects include Bun B's "Trill O.G. (trilogy), Pimp C's "Naked Soul of Sweet Jones", Damm D's "Never Forget Loyalty (N.F.L.)", and Z-Ro's "Heroine" album.

Another of the many hats I wear is assistant manager for Double Dose Ent., which manages Bun B, Mike Jones, and many producers including Big E and Cozmo (from the bay area). because of this position, I have been able to work on the last Mike Jones album, "The Voice", and the movie "American Dream", Bun B's last album "II Trill", and the last two UGK albums "Underground Kings", and "UGK 4 Life".
