Jesse Sisgold
Jesse Sisgold worked in the Los Angeles office of the global law firm, Heller Ehrman LLP, from 2003 until 2008, before joining newly formed entertainment law firm, Valle & Associates. While a junior lawyer at Heller, Los Angeles Magazine named Jesse a "Rising Star."
Jesse’s practice focuses on commercial and entertainment (film and music) transactions and disputes. He also has experience in intellectual property, First Amendment and securities law. Representative firm clients over the years include (artists/individuals excluded):

Jesse has negotiated a variety of corporate and entertainment transactions including executive and artist agreements, intellectual property licenses, and entity formation, operating, and financing agreements. When disputes arise from these sorts of artist-related agreements, Jesse has also litigated the matters to successful resolution, or, when necessary, court judgment.
Active in public interest matters, Jesse serves as the Chair of the ACLU Foundation Advisory Board and the Chair of the Board for Angels at Risk, a non-profit offering substance abuse counseling to at-risk teenagers and their families. While in law school, Jesse taught "Street Law" civics to low-income teenagers and mentored underprivileged youths through the Glide Memorial Mentorship program.
Jesse earned his J.D. cum laude in 2002 from University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he received the Legal Writing American Jurisprudence Award and Moot Court Best Oral Argument Honors. He received his B.A. in economics and minor in theatre from University of California, San Diego in 1998.
